This week Nora is learning the letter "L". And what could be more perfect than "L" for autumn leaves?! It was great getting outside to collect leaves from the ground in beautiful oranges, yellows and reds. We came home and made a collage but soon our gorgeous leaves turned to brown and got all crumbly on us. So...we tried leaf impressions instead. I found some cupcake toppers with leaves on them, grabbed the Play Doh and started stamping :) This worked well since Nora is passionate about Play Doh. She really enjoyed making shapes in the colorful dough. I also found this works well with actual stamps too w/o the use of messy inks.
